The Girl in the Yellow Dress

The Girl in the Yellow Dress is a lone black-haired girl located at the end of the Vomitgirl Area, introduced in version 0.19. She waits on top of the giant female statue, beyond Sweet Sugar, staring off into the black void. This area plays a melancholic background music, possibly implying a sad or tragic event. It is impossible for Sabitsuki or Rust to interact with the girl, due to giant arms blocking the way.

Trivia

  • Despite having a full set of walking sprites, she does not have any animations, she does not react to any Effect, and she does not have any interaction events.
  • She has a slightly similar appearance to Sister. Her dress is similar in color to Oreko's.

Theories

  • Seeing as how Sweet Sugar resembles the inside of a hotel, the girl standing at the edge of the statue could be synonymous to standing at the edge of a balcony.
  • It is possible that the girl represents Sabitsuki as a normal person. Through this, it can be implied that Sabitsuki can never become normal.
  • Considering the amount of effort needed to reach the Vomitgirl Area, it is highly probably that the Girl in the Yellow Dress holds some significance to Sabitsuki. Because the Vomitgirl Area has obvious sexual imagery and subtle allusion to prostitution (through a love hotel), it can be inferred that the Girl in the Yellow Dress may be connected to child prostitution.
    • It is also possible that, due to the effort needed to see her and inability to interact with her, Sabitsuki tried to hide her in her mental landscape, or even forget about her.
  • The Girl in the Yellow Dress may be contemplating suicide, due to standing dangerously close to the edge of the statue.
  • The girl might be Oreko with her diving helmet off.
