Deterioration (退廃) is one of the newest areas in .flow.

The player can get here by using the ladder in the Disposal area. It leads to what seems to be a rooftop. There are smoking chimneys and lamp posts, and building silhouettes can be seen in the background.

There is only one entrance in this area, which leads to the Deteriorated Apartments (退廃アパート). This area looks similar to the Apartments, but it is colored blue. By proceeding further the player will reach the Deteriorated Hallway (退廃廊下).

The Sugar Girl, which is hard to see and impossible to interact with in other areas, is sitting here on the floor and smoking. It is possible to kill her with the Iron Pipe, but she doesn't react to anything else. There are also four doors in the hallway, each leads to a certain room.

The first door to the left leads to room 0. The player can't go farther away from the door because of the blue barrier in their way. There is a bed and an IV drip in the corner of this room. There is a giant broken vase with white flowers in the middle of the room. Some kind of red liquid is spilled out of the vase. Everything is still and tinted blue, except for a wriggling red thing below the barrier.

The second door leads to room 1. There is a blue barrier, and a little Sabitsuki below it. She is looking at the door and will shake her head if the player tries to interact with the barrier in front of her. There is a table with chairs, copied from the sugar float days event. The right chair is occupied by the Sugar Girl. The left chair, where Sabitsuki sat in the event, is empty, and the liquid in cup in front of it is spilled. Everything is tinted blue.

The third door leads to room 2. There is a blue barrier, and a bed in the corner of the room. Sabitsuki sits in the middle of the room, surrounded by ramen boxes and booze bottles, and puddles of spilled liquid. She is holding an Iron Pipe, and there are scissors with paper scraps in front of her. Everything is tinted blue.

The fourth door leads to room 3 and the Night Visit event. However, Sabitsuki is unable to witness the event. When she enters the room, the player can only see a black screen and hear a static noise, and the only thing possible to do here is to leave the room. This event is for Rust.

Little Sabitsuki in room 1 is named "Rust".
In version 0.193 room 3 could not be reached normally, but teleporting property was added to the English translation. However, there was no event to see, only Kaibutsu standing below Sabitsuki.

Theories

The hallway seems to tell some kind of story.
- It might hint on the reason Sabitsuki refuses to leave her room. Room 1 shows little Sabitsuki, room 3 shows current Sabitsuki, then 2 is what happened in between. Room 0 then might describe what happened before Sabitsuki was little.
